Driver

Job Description

As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, or personnel to various locations as required. You will ensure that the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations. You will also be expected to plan travel routes efficiently, monitor fuel levels, and maintain accurate travel logs.

What Will We Do

• Safely drive vehicles to assigned destinations, following all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and operating properly.
• Monitor fuel levels and ensure regular maintenance and servicing of the vehicle.
• Plan and follow efficient travel routes to minimize travel time and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials or goods, if necessary.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and report any delays or issues in a timely manner.
• Follow company protocols for safety and vehicle inspection procedures.
• Ensure the security of goods and equipment being transported.

Requirements

• Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a driver is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle loading and unloading.
• Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct minor maintenance checks.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to travel to different locations as required.
