Site Engineer

Job Description

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at construction sites. You will ensure that projects are executed according to design specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your role involves coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects within budget. You will supervise the construction process, resolve on-site issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What Will We Do

• Oversee and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Ensure that construction work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Resolve technical issues, delays, or obstacles on-site and escalate to management when necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Manage material and resource allocation to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Should be willing to travel to various site locations.
